The conference will take place in Collingwood College, South Road, Durham DH1 3LT. (Number 6 on the map.)
Directions:
From the A1 (M) Take the A690 turning sign posted Durham. Continue straight on across the first roundabout take the left turn across the bridge. Continue along this road through four sets of traffic lights. Collingwood College is the third turning on the left hand side. From the A167 Take the turning sign posted Durham at the Cock of the North roundabout. Follow the road towards the City Centre and approximately 1 mile turn right into Collingwood College. There is free parking available, subject to availability. Please register your car registration details with the college reception when you arrive. Please only park in designated bays; if cars are parked in non-designated bays then they will be fined £50.00. Alternatively Howlands Park and Ride is nearby and costs £2 per day to park.
By Train: Durham is well served by the rail network. The journey from the station to the college is about 5 minutes by taxi. A list of local taxi numbers is available via the Durham university Greenspace Website.

There are several hotels in Durham City: from the Premier Inn to the Radisson and some boutique hotels, there is a choice for every budget. It is a small city so all hotels are a walk or short taxi ride from Collingwood College:
