North East Crime Research Network Conference 2018 Access Information
We want to make the North East Crime Research Network Conference 2018 as accessible as possible for all delegates. Below is some information about various forms of participation in the conference as well as building and room information.
The Conference
Affordability: The conference is free to attend. Lunch is provided with vegetarian/vegan options as standard. Refreshments (tea/coffee/juice and water) will be available at registration and afternoon break. If you have any specific dietary requirements please contact the conference organiser Dr. Kelly J. Stockdale at [email protected]
Content: The conference features a wide-variety of panels and topics. An electronic version of the conference programme will be available in advance via the website. All delegates will receive a printed copy of the programme on the day.
Recording: There will be photos taken on the day and key points from each session will be shared on our Twitter page @NEcrimeresearch using #NEcrime2018
Socialising: We want to make the North East Crime Research Conference a friendly and welcoming event. There will be a post-conference dinner at a nearby restaurant. This will be priced at less than £25 for a two-course meal and a drink (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage or tea/coffee), please contact the organiser if you would like to attend the conference dinner. Everyone who wants to join is welcome, we will all walk there together for a 6pm meal.

Childcare: Unfortunately, we do not provide childcare facilities. If you would like to discuss your options with a convenor, please do contact us.
The Building and Rooms
The conference is held at York St. John University, in the centre of York (close to York Minster). All sessions take place within the De Grey building, including lunch. De Grey Building is number 27 on the Campus Map. There is a small café in the main foyer of the building. The building has a lift to all floors. If you have specific access requirements please contact the organiser.
